i have a 1992 toyota 4runner and when ever i make a sharp turn it makes a loud clicking noise. Or it sounds like metal is scraping the ground really hard. I am scared that i am going to break something.
Any thoughts of what it might be?

make sure your wheels are not rubbing your tie rods. Easiest way to check is to pull a wheel off and look for bare or worn spots on the back of your wheel, rods, control arms, etc.
Boot or CV joint needs to be replaced. They cause clicking noises when you make a sharp turn.
it can be your axles
Its most probably from the grain shift and the noise is more as u turning sharper..
and it could get broken totally and stops u in any minute especially when u go up on a kerb while turning which gives extra pressure and breaks the whole grain shift.
The car has to be checked by a mechanic any way sooner better to prevent more damage.
Its not a big job u may need to buy second hand parts to repair.
I don't know the costs in the UK
