What is the best engine oil for 2001 BMW 740i, I am based in ireland and the temperatures don't really go below -10 here.

I agree with castrol guy I use it on my Beamer
Go with Mobil One 0w-40 European formula. Change it every 7500 miles and your engine will last 200,000 miles.
For a Beamer try to order it from Europe, that's what I do for my 5 serise, but make sure it synthetic.
no do not use mobile one 0w-40, use castrol 5w-30 fully synthetic…its the best and bmw recommend it, n the person who said your engine will last 200k lol man these are beam's, with good maintenance they will last up to even 400k.
whatever BMW says to use in it.
