I'm 16 years old and im about to get my first car and I dont know what car models I should narrow myself down too. I'm trying to avoid the toyota corolla, nissan centra, and honda civic. Im on a cheap budget so nothing to elaborate like sports cars or audis. Anyone have any good car models to check out for a girl? Aiming towards scions and cars like the nissan altima… thank you

@Nena x3, have you looked into the Ford Fusion, Ford Focus, Chevrolet Cobalt, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac G6, Pontiac Grand Prix or even a Pontiac Gran Am? These are all great vehicles for your first car.
Make sure that you test drive the vehicles to help you determine what vehicle is right for you. By testing driving a vehicle you will be able experience how the car handles, plus you can play with the stereo system and experience the other options and features to see how you like them.

dude… your 16 you dont need a car yet… and sorry but unless you are buying it yourself, you dont even deserve it….
WTH are you talking about ? How am I supposed to drive to school or to other places? YOU DON’T DESERVE A CAR!!!!!
Scion will be a good first car. They are part of Toyota I don't personally like Toyota but they make a good vehicle) and if you buy it brand new, that car should last you through college
Same with Nissan (they make a great vehicle) just be cautious with buying used, for some reason because of Nissan's engine, people seem to think they are all race cars so get a CarFax and test drive it!
The Scion tC is a sporty coupe and a fine first car. Just don't get the silver/gray color. Too many.
Buy a used dodge neon.. Its cute and small and don't burn too much gas, and plus since ur a new driver u can bang it up a little bit lol … Look on craigslist people sell used cars for cheap.. But if ur 16 I suggest u go with a parent to meet up with the person (if u do end up buying a car online) hope I helped
I have a 1993 nissan altima and a 1994 eagle talon, both have been good cars for me. My Talon has about 90,000 miles on it and is sporty, very comfortable, easy on gas,and fun to drive. I think I paid like $1800 for it a few years ago. Although mine has been good up to this point they are known for engine problems if you dont take really good care of them (like changing the oil regularly) The altima was my first car that used to be my moms and she gave it to me as my first car 14 years ago. I have hung on to it because it wasnt really worth much as a trade in and I still like driving it. Its also good on gas and has had almost no problems even at 170,000 miles. I have the SE model so its got the spoiler on it which I think makes it look sporty, it has a Bose stereo system which really rocks, comfy leather seats, a sunroof, power everything,ABS brakes, airbag, and automatic seatbelts which most people find annoying but I love having them because I never have to think about putting it on! (my Talon has those too:) The car is a bit rusty now from all the salt they put on the roads around here but other than that it still looks good after all these years. I drive 100 miles round trip every day to work and back, never bothers me a bit to drive the Altima. With the safety features it makes it very cheap to insure also, so that was another reason I still have the car. I also used to have a Saturn coupe, it was a 1994 model that I ended up driving until it had over 250,000 miles and it was a cool reliable little car also.
Mitsubishi eclipse… end of story.
