My 2002 lexus GS300 did not have a transmission service for 36,000 miles now. should I have a power flush of transmission system or should I just have a transmission oil change? Some mechanic suggested that power flush may damage the transmission system.

Does my transmission really NEED replaced?

I have an 02 Honda accord EX V6 coupe. Honda said today they ran an inspection and my entire transmission needs replaced! Very surprising that the whole thing needs replaced because it rides fine. Great actually. Just when I need to floor it on the on-ramp, the gears kick in a just little late. It doesn't even happen usually, just sometimes. I can deal with it and it doesn't bother me. But does the WHOLE thing actually need replaced? Or just some parts and Honda's trying to rip me off? Do I even need to replace anything? Will it get worse or eventually break the transmission more? Or is it just stuck working like this? Will it pass the (PA) state inspection?

2008 Buick Enclave Transmission Fluid Leak?

So I bought a used 2008 buick enclave today and I drove it an hour to get home. Then about and hour later I was going to go some where and then it started leaking. It leaked about 1/3 of a quart of this. I checked the power steering fluid and the transmission fluid. The power steering was green and the transmission is the same color as what leaked. What is wrong with it?

Transmission oil accidentally placed in motor oil compartment? Issues involved?

So I have a brand new Audi 2011. I went to put motor oil into my engine, but accidentally put in transmission fluid, which says it reduces friction made by Castrol oil. When I put it in, the oil level reached the maximum level and my MMI says please drain oil. Now considering that the transmission oil is only a minor fraction of motor oil mixed with the transmission fluid would it be safe to drain all the fluid then refill it with the correct motor oil, but not change the filter since I don't have the part? I need to only get my car to an Audi dealership that is 60 miles away, so I can have a proper oil change and service done. Would it be safe to do this or would it be better to just tow my car? I really don't have cash to tow 60 miles. Please help! I need to be able to fix my car….
