What do you think of a girl fixing cars?

Im in automotive and so im learning about cars. Is it unattractive for a girl to do that, what do you think of a girl covered in grease fixing cars? ,So TELL me what do you think like for real , I want to know , BTW My Daddy was a car mechanic , LOVED LOVED LOVED cars & had his own shop when He was alive.Go figure that's where I got My name Lexus from.

Do you feel that performance is beginning to die out in cars?

Okay so I'm 16, and I have respect for pretty much all cars that do something other than just be your daily driver, whether it be a Civic with a H22 swap, a 67 mustang, or a jacked up F-150. My preference is mainly in the import scene, especially Hondas because I know Honda more than I know any other car. However, I still have respect for pretty much all other cars. The thing about it is, I find performance to kind of be my passion. It seems like the want for performance is starting to die out. Its all about fuel economy and stuff like that. Also, now with OBD 3, they can monitor your cars speed and location at all times. First of all, thats a complete invasion in privacy, and people with newer cars wont be able to "have a little fun" without the state patrol on your @ss. Also, the manual tranny is starting to die out. That saddens me greatly as well. I have a 5 speed manual in my civic, and some kid was talkin trash about his dads car being faster than mine (some kia piece of crap). I ended up asking if it was a manual and he said "Yes, it has those little shifter buttons on the steering wheel". That pissed me off. I don't car what people say, that takes absolutely no skill what so ever to drive. Also, I wanted to go into the car customization and performance field as a career, but I'm afraid that this is slowly starting to die out, so there goes what I've been planning for awhile to do with my life. Does anybody else feel the same way?

What are some good ricer/tuner cars that are cheap?

heres the ones ive been looking at so far…Honda civic, prelude, accord, Acura Integra, suzuki esteem, chevy cobalt, mistibishi eclipse, toyota celica. got any more ideas? my price range is $ 0-3000…but would consider something a little more… all i will probably be doing is adding subs, tint the windows, possibly switch seats out for racing seats, add exhaust, body kits, rims low profile tires, and if i have money left over i will put some money under the hood. i would also consider mid size suvs like jeeps and blazers.

Why Do Eurpeans have 60 MPG Cars and not USA?

A friend recently went to London and traveled all over europe in a very comfortable diesel auto
that averaged 59.9 MPG on his travels. We don't offer vehicles like that in the USA. Why not? What is wrong with the USA having powerful and efficient diesel engines also?

Why do people own so many cars?

ok im not trying to dominate or dictate to anyone, i am just curious to know.
why do so many people especially in lower class neighborhoods and middle class neighborhoods. own so many cars?
like for example, there will be 2 people who live in a 2 or 3 bedroom house and they have like 6-7 cars.
and they are parked out in the front yard, parked in the street, parked in the drive way and even parked on the side of other peoples curb.
its like they are overpopulating the place with cars, cars, cars. and these are poorer people. they are not rich by any means.

many rich people who own lots and lots of cars have them stored in underground garages,or double, triple driveways, and even have acres of land to support the population of cars.

anyways its becoming an ongoing problem everywhere in USA. does having more cars make poor people feel rich? or feel more superior?

i am not rich at all, i am just a a Boy who is going to college and about to graduate and even though i have dreamed of owning and being very fascinated with lamborghinis and Ferraris. i never even dreamed of owning like 6 or 7 cars.

i just want 1 car or even 2 cars at max, no point having all these cars.
its like when you go into your neighborhood now it looks like a local train station or a car lot sale. its just ridiculous!

now im pretty liberal and open minded when it comes to anything, but seriously lets be realistic in many places we just simply dont have the land or space for so many cars, i mean especially other people.

so many people in are legislature and congress pass all these stupid laws about gay marriage and blah blah, but they fail to look at the real troubling problems, have every state pass a law that you can not have more than 2 or 3 cars, before it gets too late and are neighborhoods and areas are overpopulated, its better to do it now then never.

because when the American Population in people increase then we are going to be complaining about overpopulation and wanting to adopt a 1child policy like china, not that its a dictatorship but just to show that its for the better of human kind.

anyways i hope some of you can share your thoughts and views with me on this.
thanks alot guys!
