Florida.. 2011.. I drove my motorcycle to work one night and was pulled over. I don't have my motorcycle license but have signed up for it. The officer could have arrested me but he said since i was so honest that he will just give me a warning for speeding and a court date for not having the motorcycle endorsement. My court date is in 20 days and don't know if I should be worried about my actual license(needed for work). I can pay fines if needed. Has anyone ever had this happen to them(in the state of Florida)? If so, what were the consequences? Did you have to appear before a judge to do the sentencing? All your input is greatly appreciated. Here's the deal. You will go to court. The judge will announce your charge of driving without a license. He will then ask if you have an endorsement. If you do great if not then there's no pity. You will plead guilty, or not guilty. Guilty, the judge will decide your fate then and there. Not guilty, you will be given a court date and you will have a trial. The officer will be there and you will tell both sides of your story. Don't lie because they will be checking the facts.
Get your endorsement now. It will only help you. Don't expect to be let off scott free. Expect fines and court fees.
Before you go to court make an effort to get the process started for your endorsement and maybe the judge will show you a little pity..You never know if he is gonna ask if you have ,but if you don't you know he won't have any mercy on you.

Was higher than fine for operating a motorcycle without.
Paid it. Arguing would have cost more.
i have a motorycle permit, i let it expire, the bike is the only way i can get to and from work, no buss runs that route, i need 135 dollars to get the class’s going feb 18th, i dont have that kind of money, the only way i can get my 3rd permit for my bike is to pay the class’ take the papers to the dmv then they willl issue my last permit, i cant get the money unless i get to work, but i cant get to work unless i use the bike, no buss runs that route , sigend CONFUSED
