Since you would not have been able to purchase it without insurance (and needed to provide proof to the dealer)… you would've already known the answer to this.

If you have a Porsche 911, but are worried about the cost of insurance, then you really can't afford to own that car.
Cost of insurance is part of owning a car, and should be part of your calculations when seeing which car to buy. There are other cars which are very nice and much cheaper then a Porsche to own and run.
