1. Yes change it and change oil and filter same time and change air filter a fuel filter.

2. The normal change time is 80 k miles so you are somewhat early. However, did you have the water pump renewed at 94 k miles ? The problem is that the pump is driven by the cambelt and of course it can fail with drastic consequences.

4. The Vw golf 1.8 petrol cam belt change interval is 60,000 miles or every 4 years which ever comes first this was altered from the 80k miles due to frequent reports of failures. I would recommend having it done every 4 years if you don't do a lot of millage as the rubber deteriorates with age resulting in the belt braking.

   I would also recommend replacing the water pump and the auxiliary belt at the same time as the cam belt.
