On Monday, Dodge announced that its recently introduced Dart compact sedan would compete in the Global RallyCross Championship. The race format, which began as an X-Games demonstration and became a full-fledged series last year, combines European-style rallycross with X-Games-inspired stunts. The closed-circuit tracks where the events take place include dirt, asphalt and a 70-foot gap jump.
